MARKETING TECHNIQUES
You’ve heard about Agency X. Maybe you’ve even dealt with them, and seen their work. Most likely, their approach is standardized, and they have never ventured into a barn.
These are marketers who take themselves a bit too seriously, and end up proposing generic strategies that are really not tailored to the world of agricultural and its market.
Think of it this way: they haul in tons of soil, spread around some seeds and wait to see what takes…which is usually nothing.

MARKETING TECHNIQUES
Haricot is an agency at the human scale, like our farms. Our team of agrimarketing experts is familiar with farmers’ concerns and buying habits, and can create strategies perfectly suited for the ag market.
Think of it this way: We carefully analyze your soil, add all the necessary inputs with you, and build a solid plan for cultivation. Everything grows fast, and you end up with an abundant harvest.
To support innovation in agriculture. This is our way of contributing to our local farms.
We want agricultural businesses, farms and consumers to work together to have a positive impact on our food industry. Because we want to live on a healthy planet.
We create simple and authentic content and strategies.
We work hard, but we don’t take ourselves seriously. We meet our deadlines, but we don’t work on Friday afternoons. We treat our clients with respect – and from time-to-time, little surprises!
We know how the world of agriculture works, but we’re not afraid to venture off the beaten path. Our clients are always pleased with how carefully we listen to them, our efficiency and our results.
And… we’re really easy to get along with!
Étienne started out as a reporter for La Terre de chez nous. He ending up spending a lot of time at agricultural fairs, and decided to set aside his pen and notebook to focus on agrimarketing. He now harnesses his abundant creativity to develop winning game plans. His dream is to beat Paul Houde’s mastery of sports statistics. And, oh yes, he’s President of the Quebec Chapter of the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association (CAMA).
Audrey has had several writing contracts with large organizations, including UPA. Hand her a PhD thesis, and she’ll summarize it on a post-it. In fact, you might think she spends a tad too much time making post-it lists (she even makes lists of lists!), but everyone at Haricot knows that’s the secret of her legendary productivity.
Since completing her studies in digital marketing and working for an ad agency, Noémie has identified as a hybrid of creation and management. She wields her pen to bring forth words, as well as drawings. Because she doesn’t have a farm, she turned her balcony into a test field.
François-B’s boundless curiosity is his most distinctive feature. It has led him to create impactful and effective communication tools. With a career spanning more than 30 years, he sees beyond the latest trends. His mandates have come in all shapes and sizes and levels of complexity.
Ginette has successfully managed multiple departments within a large telecommunications company (no less). Her recipe for success? Her humanity, her desire to do things right and her sense of humor. At Haricot, she makes sure that everything runs smoothly (and that we don’t forget to scan our invoices).
